Hark! The Herald Angels Sing (Organ Introduction No. 1)

An organ introduction to the hymn tune, MENDELSSOHN, best known as the Christmas carol, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.

The hymn is often printed in F Major, but if you’re using the David Willcocks setting from 100 Carols for Choirs, you’ll want an introduction to the hymn in G major.

I’ve included two introductions: one leading to the hymn in F major; the second, to G major. Both introductions begin in E-flat.
