Lyric Solos for the Church Pianist

As a church pianist, I often find myself needing something short and lyrical to fill just a minute or two. In the church where I play, this most frequently happens during communion. One never knows how long communion might last, so if the music I had planned runs a little short, it’s nice to have suitable music handy that I can play to fill the time.

I keep a forScore folder of lyrical piano solos on my iPad for this very purpose. All of the pieces below are in that folder. They aren’t necessarily sacred, but the character of each is fitting for a church service, and they’re all quite short.
