Nocturne in E Major

With its lovely melody and sophisticated harmonies, Nocturne in E Major would make an excellent recital piece for a late intermediate level student.

A two-against-three rhythmic figure appears numerous times throughout the piece. It’s presented exactly the same way each time (right-hand triplet against two left-hand eighth notes), making mastery as easy as possible.
